Graduation with 50% (OM)/45% (Reserved) or PG with 50% or PhD
Graduation in any stream from any recognized University with minimum of 50% marks for Open merit and 45% marks for Reserved categories.
However, candidates having post graduation degree with 50% marks or holding a PhD degree shall also be eligible for selection.

Open Merit (OM): Maximum 40 years (Born between 01.01.1985 and 01.01.2007)
SC/ST-1/ST-2/RBA/ALC/IB/EWS/OBC: Maximum 43 years (Born between 01.01.1982 and 01.01.2007)
Physically Challenged Person (PwBD): Maximum 42 years (Born between 01.01.1983 and 01.01.2007)

Selection Process
The selection for the post shall be made on the basis of merit obtained in the written/OMR examination only.
The Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice Questions. The questions will be set in English Language only.
There will be Negative Marking for each wrong answer to the extent of one-fourth of marks assigned to that question.
How to Apply
The necessary instructions regarding filling up of online applications, including the details of the Online Portal in this regard shall be made available on the Board’s Website separately.
Candidates will be required to fill the application form in online mode only and no other means/mode of application will be accepted.
Fee can be paid only through online mode viz. Net Banking, Credit or Debit cards.
Before applying, candidates are advised to go through the instructions given in the notice of examination very carefully.
The candidates must write their name, date of birth, father’s name and mother’s name strictly as given in the Matriculation Certificate otherwise their candidature may be cancelled at the time of Document Verification or as and when it comes into the notice of the Board.
Request for change/ correction in any particulars in the Application Form, once submitted, will not be entertained under any circumstances.
Candidates are advised to fill the Application Form carefully & diligently. Further they are advised to review the Application Form carefully before submitting.
Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login to the online application portal on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days.
When Application is successfully submitted, it will be accepted ‘Provisionally’. Candidate should take printout of the Application Form and submit the same at the time of Documents Verification.
The candidates are further advised not to submit the hard copies of the Online Application Form in the office of the Services Selection Board either in person or by post/email.
Only one online application for the post of same item number is allowed to be submitted by the candidate.
Applications with blurred/ illegible Photograph/ Signature will be rejected summarily.
In case of fake/ fabricated application/ registration by misusing any dignitaries name/ photo, such candidate(s)/ shall be held responsible for the same and liable for suitable legal action under Cyber/ IT Act/relevant rules.
