Salary/Stipend

  • Chief Editor : Rs.1,50,000/- per month (Fixed Consolidated)
  • Editor (English & Marathi) : Rs.1,00,000/- per month (Fixed Consolidated)
  • Deputy Editor : Rs.80,000/- per month (Fixed Consolidated)
  • Assistant Editor : Rs.60,000/- per month (Fixed Consolidated)

Note: Selected candidates will be paid fixed/consolidated remuneration only. No other pay or allowances will be given.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Degree in Law from a recognised University is mandatory for all posts (except retired judicial officers under category A).
  • Must possess certificate of computer proficiency from recognised institutions (Universities, NIC, DOEACC, APTECH, NIIT, C-DAC, MS-CIT, etc.).
  • Must possess minimum skills to perform work using computers and technology deployed for publication and search portal.
  • Must have sufficient knowledge of English as well as Marathi language to read, write, speak and translate from English to Marathi and vice-versa.
  • Post-wise detailed eligibility, experience and age criteria are mentioned in the official notification PDF.
  • Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Judicial Academies, Law Reports, Law Commission, Law Libraries and legal translation work.

  • Chief Editor: 45 to 70 Years
  • Editor (English & Marathi): 35 to 45 Years
  • Deputy Editor: 35 to 45 Years
  • Assistant Editor:
    • Fresh Law Graduates / Pleader-Attorney-Advocate : 21 to 40 Years
    • Ministerial Staff : 21 to 45 Years
